Funeral Pricing

Our Funeral Pricing

Funeral costs are split into 2 parts; Funeral Director fees, and Third Party fees.  These are charges that we pay on your behalf.  During the funeral arrangement, we will talk to you about the choices you have made and advise you of each of the fees that will be payable for the different options. Your estimate and invoice will be itemised and will show a breakdown of each of the charges that will apply. Our price lists are available by clicking on the buttons below. We will also supply a copy of these and a full estimate of costs when we meet with you to discuss the funeral arrangements.

Jeremy Neal Services

Taking care of all the necessary legal and administrative arrangements

From start to finish, you will always receive a dedicated, professional and friendly service from each of our team members. From completion of all the paperwork that will allow the funeral to go ahead, to liaising with clergy, creating newspaper notices and service sheets, booking the funeral service itself, looking after you at the chapel of rest and conducting the service with a full compliment of staff, our team will support you and your family whenever you need us.

Collecting and transporting the deceased

When you contact us, our professional and friendly team will attend and move the deceased person back to our chapel of rest. We will do so with your needs and requests in mind, and you can help us or be in attendance if you wish. We can also arrange to bring a deceased person back home should this be your wish.

Care of the deceased

You can choose whether the deceased person is to be dressed in their own clothes, or you may feel that one of our gowns would be more suitable. We can also arrange for personal items to be placed in the coffin and will give you the best advice in terms of coming to visit and spending time in the chapel of rest.

Your choice of coffin

We offer a range of coffins that are all either a high quality wood effect, wood veneer or solid wood. There is also a selection of Willow and cardboard coffins. Your funeral director will explain the differences to enable you to make the right choice for you.

Viewing of the deceased

Whether you wish to visit the chapel of rest or not, we will always ensure that we look after the person who has passed away, as if they were a member of our own family.

Our chapel of rest is open by appointment Monday – Friday from 10am-4pm

Taking the deceased to the cemetery or crematorium

During our discussions with you, we will explain all the different options you have for the funeral service. We will transport the deceased in our Traditional Hearse, with a full complement of staff. We will stay with you during the Funeral service to offer guidance and support.

Limousines for mourners if required

Our limousines can transport 7 passengers. Alternatively, if you wish to use your own cars that is fine too.

Should the doctor feel unable to issue a certificate of cause of death, the Coroner will be notified. In these cases the coroner issues a certificate in place of the doctor’s certificate and sends it to the Registrars office to enable you to register the death.
